Parks and Recreation

St. Johns City Park

Covering more than two square blocks, the St. Johns City Park is the center of many community events. Large shaded areas with lush grass provide an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the mild weather year-round. The park includes restrooms, drinking water, picnic facilities, and group ramadas with electricity and tables. Reservations for ramadas can be obtained by contacting City Hall at (928) 337-4517 ext 0.

St. Johns Recreation Center

Adjacent to St. Johns City Park, the center features a swimming pool, playground, and tennis and handball courts. Open swimming and classes are available, and the pool can be rented between lessons. Call (928) 337-2225 for reservations and fee schedule.

St. Johns Equestrian Center

The St. Johns Equestrian Center is rapidly becoming one of the premier equestrian centers in the southwest. The center attracts riders from Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, and southern California. St. Johns provides excellent footing, a rolling countryside, and a variety of facilities and equipment. The area is perfect for equestrian competitions.
