St. Johns Unified School District
St. Johns Unified School District is comprised of an elementary school, middle school and high school.
Coronado Elementary School is located on a six-acre campus. The experienced staff and small class size provide a nurturing environment for young minds. Coronado places an emphasis on developing excellent study habits and a positive learning ethic as a foundation for future education and workforce skills. A comprehensive computer lab, new facilities, and numerous extracurricular activities support a rural-friendly environment where students and families know one another.
St. Johns High School takes pride it it's championship Academic Decathlon team, which has won 23 regional competitions in the last 24 years. The Culinary Program was awarded the Arizona Career & Technical Education (ACTE) Program of the Year. Combined with ten athletic programs, 14 vocational education offerings, and numerous fine arts classes, the curriculum is one of the finest in the state. The Letty A. Patterson Auditorium adds a professional theatrical and orchestra venue that hosts numerous community events and is a source of pride for the entire city.

Northland Pioneer College
A leader in the area's economic development efforts, Northland Pioneer College (NPC) is an innovator in providing customized and workforce development training throughout northeastern Arizona. NPC's locations in Springerville/Eagar and St. Johns are a part of an accredited, state-supported community college with four campuses and six centers serving communities throughout an area of 21,000 square miles.
Northland provides courses for degree and certificate completion through three educational paths
- Occupational: Providing career training in 25 fields.
- Transfer: Preparing students to pursue a four-year Bachelor's degree.
- Lifelong Learning: Enhancing students' knowledge and skills, upgrading employment skills, or providing instruction in areas of personal interest.
Northern Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology (NAVIT)
NAVIT allows high school students to participate with other northeastern Arizona high schools that specialize in areas such as computers, agriculture, media arts, automotive technology, welding, cosmetology, and electronics. In conjunction with their traditional studies, the institute provides current and in-demand job skills. They work closely with communities to address workforce development needs. NAVIT is supported through a special tax from residents of northeastern Arizona who recognize that developing a strong and capable workforce begins by providing young minds with the knowledge, skills and abilities that today's businesses require.
